On the Menu at “Books Sandwiched In”

This year’s menu at “Books Sandwiched In” features an impressive and varied selection of fiction and nonfiction intended to spark regular, lively discussion at the Chapel Hill Public Library. The list includes the Carolina Summer Reading Program choice for August and a provocative collection of short stories for juveniles for banned book month. From a biography of George Washington to a hilarious look at America through Bill Bryson’s eyes, the selections invite all to share the variety and complexity of contemporary literature.
